Imperfection

Everyone is imperfect. Everyone. But that's what makes us all individual. If everyone were to be perfect, then we would all just be walking zombies who gets everything right at the first try. Life wouldn't even have a meaning if every living being on Earth was perfect. It would all be so perfect, it would be as fake as Barbie.

Who am I kidding? Everyone wants to be perfect. I admit I do sometimes. At the end of the day, its all the little imperfections that make life beautiful and real. If everything were to go as planned or as scheduled, then wouldn't it be a boring routine?

We're human. Imperfection is what makes us human. If everyone were to be perfect, then life would sure as hell be boring. We would only do everything according to plan. It would be like we were all robots. What we have wouldn't even be called a life.

If people were all born the same, everyone wouldn't be individual. Imagine if every single being on Earth were born exactly alike. It would be weird and unnatural. It would be fake. We would all be fake because everyone will do as they were told and everyone wouldn't have flaws. Not to mention you wouldn't be able to tell one apart from another.

"Brace all of your imperfections and learn to love them." Easier said than done. Admit it, we all have insecurities and imperfections. But guess what? Insecurities and imperfections are a big part of our lives that make us all human.

Although, nowadays society has seemed created its own little world full of stereotypes. Definition: "Stereotypes are standardized and simplified conceptions of groups based on some prior assumptions." For example, most people have this general idea that girls should be stick thin and have diets that wouldn't even make a mouse full. It's because of these stereotypes that many girls think that they have to starve themselves to the brink of death just to be so-called beautiful. It frustrates me so much because many girls or people, just because of these so-called stereotypes, commit suicide because they can't please society. So many beautiful people die or go into depression just because of this so-called "always right" society. More like evil society to me.

People have to stop trying to please the society and its critics because face it, you can never be able to please them fully. Stop pleasing society and start pleasing only yourself. Because when you please yourself, you'll be happy and most of all, you'll feel confident in yourself. And confidence is the key to success

Food for thought.
